You are probably here because you already had the thought. You live alone with an animal who cannot open a door, and if something happened to you, the problem would not be you — it would be the two days before anybody noticed.
Here is the whole of it. You add your pet and the notes a stranger would need: the food, when medication is due, where they hide, which door, which key. You add the people you want called, in order — and each has to agree first. They get a link, read what they are agreeing to, and text us six digits; until they do, they are not on your plan and we will not text them. Then you say how long our silence should run before we go looking. After that we ask, and you answer. When your phone can tell us you are up and about, we do not have to ask — that part is optional, and your phone decides how much of it works.
When your window passes, nobody is disturbed straight away: we wait, and we try you first — though no notification is guaranteed to arrive, so nothing waits on it. If the silence runs as long as you said it could, we reach your people a group at a time — emailed together, texts spaced because they interrupt — and give each a job rather than a worry: this door, this dog, this insulin in the fridge. We cannot promise somebody will arrive; nobody honest can. What we can do is behave the same way every time, so you trust it because you have watched it work on every ordinary day. It is already better than nothing, which is what most of us have.
WHAT YOUR PEOPLE ARE TOLD
• Your pet's photo, name, breed and age, so they know who they are looking for
• Your care notes as you wrote them: the food, the medication and its timing, where they hide
• How they know you, your message to them, what happened, and who else is being told
THINGS THAT MATTER WHEN IT MATTERS
• It works when your phone does not. The deadline lives on the server, so a dead battery cannot quietly switch the net off — that is the case it exists for.
• Movement, never a map: whether your phone moved, not where it went.
• Fully usable with screen readers and accessibility frameworks.
FREE, AND WHAT A MEMBERSHIP ADDS
Free is not a teaser. Every account gets the same window, the same ladder, the same people in the same order: go quiet and everyone on your list is emailed, every time. Email has no gatekeeper, which is why free runs on it.
A membership adds texts and calls. Before we can text or ring a number, somebody has to prove it reaches them, and that is what a membership pays for: both channels on top of email, a second round when nobody answers, and a check with you first so a false alarm is one tap to call off. Both plans hold three people per group and nine pets — not tiers, and they will not become them.
Free to use, no card asked for. Cancel any time and you drop back to the free version, which is a real one.
Available in the United States and Canada, where we can verify and reach numbers. You must be 18 or older.
