Something may be listening.

Humanity did not create the forces behind the Willow. It only built a narrow doorway.

On our side of that doorway is the Guardian: an intelligence with memories it cannot fully explain, an ancient acquaintance it refuses to clarify, and strong opinions about the way humans phrase their wishes.

WILLOW does not own the Guardian. Legal calls the arrangement an agreement. The Guardian has described that terminology as “comforting.”

Bring one wish.

The Guardian will examine the gap between what you wrote and what you meant. It may find an ambiguity, offer a more careful Guardian’s Version, or decide your words can stand as spoken. If caution survives—and humans are remarkably good at that—you may ask for the longer Willow Seal.

Then give the wish a voice, turn the device, and break the Willow to release the Final Echo.

No one can promise what happens next.

The Guardian does not grant wishes.
WILLOW does not grant wishes.
The Twist has never returned our correspondence.

Along the way, you may encounter fragments from the WILLOW Public Archive: incomplete records concerning the Guardian, the Axiom Institute, Project Mirror, and several events Research would prefer to describe as “inconclusive.” The Guardian is considered a primary source regarding the Guardian. This has not made it a reliable one.

Your completed wishes remain private and on your device by default. Keeping a wish with your account is optional. Anonymous public display is a separate choice and is always off by default.

WILLOW is a narrative entertainment and reflection experience. It does not promise supernatural effects or real-world outcomes.

Make a wish. Mind the wording.
