Built by frontline workers, for frontline workers.
WelfareCheckr is a wellbeing app designed around the realities of shift work — daily check-ins, fatigue monitoring, recovery tracking, and a private voice journal, all in one minute a day. 100% private by design.
Shift work is demanding. Long rotations, night shifts, and high-stakes work take a toll on your body and mind. Existing wellness apps aren't built for people working rosters like ours. WelfareCheckr is. No hype, no wellness jargon — just practical tools that fit into the gaps between shifts.
HOW IT WORKS
Open the app. Take a 1-minute check-in. See how you're tracking. That's it. WelfareCheckr is built to be simple, because shift workers already have enough on their plate. No lengthy surveys, no decision fatigue, no complicated setup. Check in, see your trends, and get on with your day.
WHAT'S INSIDE
Daily Check-In — A quick, 1-minute wellbeing pulse check. Notice how you're tracking before fatigue becomes something bigger. Daily awareness builds over time into patterns you can actually use.
Fatigue Monitoring — See your fatigue trends over time. Spot patterns across your rotation and recognise when recovery needs attention. Fatigue is one of the biggest risks for shift workers — WelfareCheckr helps you stay aware of where you're at, without making it complicated.
Recovery Tracking — Prompts that fit around real rosters — not a 9-to-5 routine. Recovery looks different when you're on night shift, mid-rotation, or coming off a run of long shifts. WelfareCheckr understands that and adapts.
Voice Offload Journal — After difficult shifts, having a private place to offload and reset helps you close the shift instead of carrying it home. Record a voice note, process the shift, and leave it there. Completely private — no employer access, no data sharing, no listening in. Ever.
5 Wellbeing Pillars — A structured framework covering sleep, nutrition, movement, mental health, and social connection. Practical, not preachy. Each pillar connects to your daily check-in, so you can see which areas need attention and which are tracking well.
WHY WELFARECHECKR IS DIFFERENT
Built by Frontline Workers — This isn't a top-down wellness product designed in a boardroom. It's built by people who know what it's like to finish a night shift and wonder how you'll do it all again tomorrow. Every feature exists because it solves a real problem we've faced ourselves.
Shift-Work Native — Every feature is designed around rosters, not office hours. Check-in timing, recovery prompts, and fatigue tracking all reflect how shift work actually works — including nights, rotations, and irregular hours.
Simple by Design — Shift workers have enough decisions to make. WelfareCheckr keeps things simple — one minute, one check-in, done. No overwhelm, no endless features you'll never use, no guilt about not doing enough.
