The Discovery App is a smartphone-based platform that enables real-time radiological monitoring, isotope identification, and system management and is expandable to include mapping, survey data collection on compatible Symetrica products. Built for mobility and ease of use, it gives operators immediate access to essential radiation information directly from their mobile device.

Users can view live gamma and neutron count rates as well as dose equivalent rate data, supporting rapid assessment of radiological conditions in the field. Integrated isotope identification capabilities allow detected sources to be analysed and clearly visualised within the app.

To ensure measurement accuracy, the app supports both manual and automatic background acquisition, enabling reliable baselines for detection and analysis. The app also provides access and control of the Symetrica product configuration suite that lets users customise alerts, preferences, and power management settings, ensuring the system adapts to operational needs.

The app provides continuous system health monitoring, delivering real-time insight into device status and performance to support operational readiness. For seamless deployment, it can automatically detect and connect to Symetrica systems on the same network, streamlining setup across supported devices.

The Discovery App is also expandable to include powerful mapping and survey tools, allowing operators to record measurements geographically, track movement, and build detailed survey logs. These tools support field operations by helping users understand radiation distribution, document search patterns, and create structured reports based on collected data.

Together, these capabilities make the Discovery App a powerful and intuitive tool for mobile radiological awareness, mapping, analysis, survey operations, and system oversight.
