SteelSight Engine helps bridge the gap between industrial data-capture hardware and modern web applications.

Instead of relying on hardware-specific browser solutions, organisations can use a common browser environment across different Android device manufacturers and scanner platforms.

Typical applications include:

**Logistics & Warehousing**
Use barcode scanning directly within browser-based WMS and ERP applications for picking, receiving, inventory and shipping processes.

**Manufacturing**
Operate browser-based production systems, machine interfaces and shop-floor applications in a controlled fullscreen environment.

**Healthcare**
Provide controlled access to web applications on mobile devices while restricting access to unwanted applications or websites.

**Field Service**
Give employees access to web-based business applications and scanning functionality while working at customer sites or in mobile environments.

SteelSight Engine is developed by ID-Systems AG in Switzerland for professional and industrial Android environments.
