Kountx is an offline-first inventory and organization application designed for independent workers or anyone who needs a practical way to organize items, contacts, and activity records directly from an Android device.
The application is focused on simplicity, portability, and local data ownership. Unlike many modern productivity tools that depend heavily on cloud infrastructure, accounts, subscriptions, or permanent internet connectivity, Kountx is designed to work entirely offline. All information remains stored locally on the device using SQLite and Drizzle ORM, allowing the application to remain lightweight, responsive, and fully functional even in environments with unstable or limited connectivity.
Kountx helps users organize inventory items, categories, quantity changes, notes, and activity history in a structured and accessible way. Users can create item entries, group information, monitor quantity updates, and maintain organized records directly from their phone without needing external systems or remote servers.
The app also includes contact organization features that allow users to store names, addresses, phone numbers, and additional notes locally on-device. This can help independent workers and mobile professionals keep related information organized in a single place while maintaining full control over their own data.
A major focus of Kountx is offline accessibility. Every core feature works locally on-device, including inventory tracking, contact organization, PDF export generation, local backups, and authentication features. Users can continue using the application normally even without Wi-Fi or mobile data access.
Kountx includes offline PDF export generation directly on-device. Users can generate structured PDF documents locally and share them using Android's native share sheet. Exported files can be saved, archived, printed, or shared through compatible applications installed on the device. PDF generation happens entirely offline and does not require external APIs or cloud services.
To help users maintain control over their information, Kountx provides local backup and restore functionality. Users can export their local database into backup files and restore them later if needed. Since the application does not depend on cloud accounts or remote synchronization, users remain fully responsible for where and how their exported files are stored.
Privacy and local ownership are central parts of the application's design philosophy. Kountx does not require account creation, remote login systems, or cloud-based synchronization. Information entered into the app remains on the device unless the user explicitly chooses to export or share it manually.
The application includes security features such as PIN protection and biometric authentication support using the device's built-in fingerprint or Face ID capabilities when available. Authentication is handled locally through the operating system and helps protect access to locally stored information.
Kountx supports 18 languages and includes localized formatting support for different regions and language preferences. The interface is designed to remain simple and accessible while still providing flexible organization features for different kinds of users and workflows.
Kountx is intended for users who want a simple offline organization experience without unnecessary complexity, cloud dependency, or mandatory subscriptions. Whether used for inventory organization, item tracking, contact management, local record keeping, or offline PDF exports, the app is designed to provide a lightweight and reliable experience directly on-device.
