WARHORN is a one-against-one town-building war game. Four and a half minutes, everything public, and not one order to give once the fighting starts.

Grow a town from your corner. Upgrade the core and your land grows a ring. Every tile you take is a choice: a farm pays gold every turn, a barracks sends soldiers with every horn.

Then the horn blows. Your soldiers walk out on their own, down three roads, towards the other town. Waves that meet annihilate one for one. Survivors break the gates and lay siege to the core. Raze it, or hold more gates when the clock runs out.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Farms or barracks on every tile you own, and you pick which road a barracks sends its men down.
• Soldiers, pikes, archers and riders. Each beats one and loses to another.
• No fog and no hidden cards: their town, their gold and their next wave are on your screen.
• No unit orders and no tapping in a fight. You build; the war walks itself.

A MATCH
Cores in opposite corners of a fifteen-by-fifteen board, with gold veins and standing stones mirrored so both halves are equal. Upgrading the core stops the horns while it lasts, so growing is a risk anyone can see you take. At four minutes the horns come faster. At four and a half it is settled: core razed, or more gates standing.

PLAY WHO YOU LIKE
Add friends by code and challenge them from the home screen. Queue for a stranger. Or practise against a bot at three difficulties, from either corner.

LEARN IT IN ONE MATCH
The tutorial is a real match with a coach in it: your first farm, your first horn, your first barracks, the march — and then it lets go and you finish the game yourself.

YOUR CHARACTER
Pick who stands on your castle, on the matchmaking grass and on the winner's half of the end screen.

Free to play. No ads.
