MazeCrafter is a maze builder and a maze runner in one app. Draw the walls, drop in traps and treasures, set the rules, then try to escape your own design. Every maze you make is checked for a valid path before you can play it.

THE EDITOR
Start from a generated maze or an empty board up to 12 by 14 cells. Tap any edge to add or remove a wall. Generate a perfect maze and carve shortcuts, or draw every corridor by hand. The board tells you at once whether the exit can be reached, how long the shortest path is and how hard the maze rates on a five-step scale.

OBSTACLES AND TREASURE
- Blocks: solid, nothing passes.
- Spikes: cost a life and send you back to the last checkpoint.
- Ice: you slide until something stops you.
- Keys and doors: every door needs a key.
- Portals: enter one, leave from the other.
- Checkpoints: spikes return you here instead of the start.
- Gems: optional bonus. Collect them all for the third star.
Move the start and the exit anywhere you like. The editor warns about lone portals and doors without keys.

DIFFICULTY
Four modes from Relaxed to Brutal change the number of lives, the time limit and the score multiplier. Set a base time, and the editor suggests a fair limit from the shortest path.

PLAY
Run your maze with swipes or the on-screen arrows. Your trail is drawn behind you, keys and gems are collected on the way, doors unlock, and the timer ticks down. Reach the exit for the first star, keep every life or finish in half the time for the second, and collect every gem for the third. Scores reward short routes, spare lives and time left on the clock.

PUZZLE COLLECTION
Six built-in mazes from First Steps to The Labyrinth introduce every mechanic. Play them for stars, or remix any of them into the editor and make your own version.
