QuireFold Nest is an offline-first signature imposition workbench for hand binders, zine makers, letterpress printers, library-conservation students, and DIY chapbook authors.

Lock parent sheet size and finished page size, choose a fold scheme (folio, quarto, octavo, sexto, duodecimo, 16mo, half-letter zine, and more), set total page count plus gripper and trim allowances, and instantly see which page numbers land on the front and back of every press sheet—plus a numbered fold-order diagram, trim/cut checklist, and spine-bulk estimate from paper caliper.

Built for real bindery setup, not generic converters. The core loop is a live workbench, not a project archive: change an input and the sheet map updates immediately so you can plan formes before you cut, fold, or sew.

KEY FEATURES

Parent sheet, finished page size, fold scheme, page count, gripper and trim margins refresh the sheet map instantly.

Front and back press-sheet grids
Exact page numbers per forme with flip and tumble orientation cues so you know how each sheet runs on press.

Numbered fold-order diagrams
Step illustrations for each scheme help you fold sections without guesswork.

Spine-bulk estimator
Paper caliper or GSM preset × leaf count, with a board-thickness suggestion for case binding.

Seed scheme library

Common text and cover calipers. Tap a stock to push values into the active workbench.

Margin safety checks
Flags when type area collides with trim or fold creep on outer pages.

Local presets and export
Save custom schemes and paper presets on device; reopen any saved scheme in the live workbench. Share a printable imposition card (sheet map, fold order, trim notes) through the Android share sheet.

Bindery glossary plus in-app Privacy Policy and Terms from Settings. Works fully offline so the bench stays useful in the studio, library, or shop floor.

QuireFold Nest turns sheet size, fold scheme, and page count into a press-ready page map, fold sequence, and spine-bulk estimate in one place.
