If your phone reminds you to charge your battery… why doesn't it remind you to recharge your body?

Every day, students go through classes tired, unfocused, and low on energy — simply because they forget to stay hydrated. SafeSip was built to change that.

SafeSip is a user-friendly mobile app that helps you build healthy hydration habits through tracking, reminders, and motivation. Monitor your water intake, receive personalised reminders, and stay motivated through hydration streaks.

KEY FEATURES:
• Daily water intake tracking with a circular progress ring
• Personalised hydration reminders throughout the day
• Streak motivation to keep you consistent
• Weekly hydration statistics and history
• Sleep mode with PIN protection
• Secure sign-in with Google
• Simple, student-friendly interface

WHY SAFESIP?
Unlike many hydration apps that only track water intake, SafeSip combines reminders, streak motivation, sleep mode, and safe hydration awareness in one simple platform. Because students contributed feedback during development, our app is designed to be relatable, practical, and easy to use.

By helping students stay hydrated and focused, SafeSip supports:
• SDG 3 — Good Health and Well-being
• SDG 4 — Quality Education
• SDG 6 — Clean Water and Sanitation

Tested with students at Our Lady's Secondary School Nnobi — about 80% said the reminders helped them drink water more consistently.

FUTURE PLANS:
AI-powered hydration recommendations, smartwatch integration, multilingual support, and expanded health tracking features.
