Safe Kids TV is a video, story and games app for young children, built on one rule: nothing reaches a child until a person has reviewed it.

Every video is watched and approved by a person before it is published. Children watch, read and play, and that is all: they cannot post, comment, chat, upload or message anyone, and there are no public profiles.

Picture-book stories are read aloud in Arabic or English, with each sentence lit up as it is read. More than 20 games run on the device, for ages 1 to 6 and older, with instructions read aloud so the youngest children can play before they can read. After a video about counting, letters, shapes or colours, the app offers a game or story about the same thing. A parent chooses one of four buddies to keep the child company.

Watch on the TV too: Safe Kids TV works on Android TV with the remote, for videos and stories on the big screen. Games stay on phones and tablets.

Parents stay in charge from an area protected by a PIN, with optional fingerprint unlock:
- Daily limits for videos, stories and games, and one total limit for everything
- Age, language, category and video-length filters
- Show or hide the games
- Lock one video or one category
- Block a video or a whole channel
- Clear watch and search history
- Report a video, or contact us, from inside the app

No ads. No third-party advertising or analytics tools. No access to the camera, microphone, location or contacts. Suggestions are ordered on the device itself, and the words a child types into search never leave it.

A parent account is created once, by a parent. New families get 7 days free, then 10 free minutes every day. A Google Play subscription removes the daily limit on free minutes, while any limits a parent sets still apply; it renews automatically until it is cancelled in Google Play.

Available in English and Arabic.
