Fortune favours the claw.

Swing the claw, time your drop and winch gold, silver and copper ore to the surface. The Ore Claw is a classic gold mining arcade game with a British twist: start on the Cornish clifftops, then follow an old treasure map through the Welsh valleys, the Peak District and the Scottish Highlands, before taking your claw to the asteroids.

DROP, GRAB, HAUL
• One tap drops the claw. Big nuggets pay well but reel in slowly; small ones come up fast.
• Double-tap or swipe up to blast an unwanted load with dynamite.
• Hit the money target before the clock runs out, then go back for all three stars.
• Buried safes, coin purses, mystery bin bags, scurrying moles with stolen nuggets and rusted landmines keep every dig interesting.
• Ore positions change every time you play, so every expedition is fresh ground.

A TREASURE HUNT ACROSS BRITAIN
• 12 story expeditions across four regions, each with its own scenery and weather.
• Rescue Roman, Iron Age, Anglo-Saxon and Gaelic finds for each region's collection.
• Follow the trail to the Four Kingdoms hoard.
• Pipes, concrete boulders and scrap anvils stand between you and the best ore.

ARCADE MODES
• Endless Quarry: three lives, rising targets and a perk to choose after every wave.
• Daily Dig: one board a day, the same for every player. Keep your streak going and see how you compare.
• Asteroid Mining: rare metals, satellites and friendly alien ships (until you grab one).
• Deep Space: a taller field to scroll through, with rocks drifting in from every side.

UPGRADE AND COLLECT
• Spend your earnings on winch upgrades, ore magnets, dynamite, outfits and spaceships.
• Find all five pieces of the Grenadier guard's uniform in the mines' lost property.
• Earn 20 medals for daring hauls, long streaks and lucky finds.

METAL DETECTING
• Sweep a meadow, read the signals and dig up historical finds for your album, with short notes on each one.

FAIR AND FRIENDLY
• No ads, no subscriptions, no coin packs and no paid continues.
• Free to play: expeditions 1 to 4, the Endless Quarry, the Daily Dig and metal detecting.
• One optional purchase unlocks the full game: expeditions 5 to 12, Asteroid Mining and Deep Space.
• Plays offline, with colour assist, reduced motion and larger text options.

If you grew up on claw and gold miner games, this one is made for you: quick to learn, satisfying to master and easy to pick up for a few minutes at a time.

The game's economy is fictional: metals and coins can't be cashed out. Historical notes are educational, and no real detecting sites are identified.
