Welcome to Stonenine, a modern twist on the classic grid puzzle where smart placement meets dynamic board survival!

Place classic geometric pieces onto an 8x8 grid to clear full rows and columns. But there is a catch: every move without a line clear causes your placed blocks to age, losing health from 9 down to 1. If a block hits 0, it transforms into an immovable slate stone tile that blocks your lines completely!

Clear lines to activate the healing loop, restoring vitality to your living board before stone takes over. Plan every move, protect neighboring tiles, and deploy powerful superpowers to keep the board alive.

HOW TO PLAY
• Drag and drop shapes from your tray onto the 8x8 board.
• Complete full rows or columns to clear lines and score points.
• Watch your block numbers: every move without a clear decrements living block health by 1.
• Proximity Shield: blocks placed adjacent to your newly dropped piece are shielded from aging for that turn!
• Line Clears Heal: clearing lines heals all living blocks across the board, reversing decay.
• Avoid Stone: blocks that drop to 0 health turn into solid stone, which cannot be cleared through normal line matches!

• Classic Mode: endless strategic survival. How long can you manage the decay and outsmart the grid?
