A calmer order book for tailors, seamstresses and alteration shops.
Keep the details of each job together: the customer, their measurements, the garment, the due date
and the amount still to pay. Tailor Order Book is designed for solo makers who want a clear client book
without accounts or a complicated business system.
CUSTOMERS AND MEASUREMENTS
Save customer names, optional phone numbers and fit notes. Add the measurements you actually use,
label them in your own words, and choose inches or centimetres. Reuse the customer record for their
next order.
ORDERS FROM BOOKED TO COLLECTED
Create a garment or alteration order with notes and an optional reference photo. Set a due date and
move the job through Booked, In progress, Ready and Collected. Search by job or customer and filter
your order list.
DEPOSITS AND BALANCES
Record the agreed price and the amount already paid. Add a payment when you receive it and see the
remaining balance. The dashboard brings outstanding balances and upcoming work together. The app
records amounts you enter; it does not process payments, reconcile bank accounts or replace
accounting software.
SHARE AN ORDER CARD
Open your phone's share sheet to send a plain-text summary through a compatible app such as
WhatsApp or email. Review the destination before sending. Customer measurements, phone numbers,
private notes and reference photos are not included in the shared summary.
WORK OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED
Create and manage your records without an internet connection or an app account. Your tailoring
records stay in the app's private storage, encrypted with an Android Keystore key. The free app uses
Google AdMob banner ads on Today and Orders when an internet connection and the required privacy
choices allow them. Google's advertising services process device and ad-related information as
described in the privacy policy. There are no ads on customer records, order forms or Settings. No
cloud sync.

EXPORT AND RESTORE
Export a JSON backup that includes your customers, measurements, orders and photos. Restore it
when you need to move your records to a new installation. Exported backups are not encrypted: store
them privately and copy them off your phone before uninstalling or resetting it. There is no automatic
off-device backup.
CHOOSE YOUR WORKSPACE
Use light, dark or system appearance, choose inches or centimetres, and select USD, GBP, EUR, CAD or
AUD. Changing currency relabels your existing amounts; it does not convert them.
Try the clearly marked fictional sample workspace, or start with your own empty client book.
No automatic body measurements, tax calculations, invoicing compliance, payment collection or staff
payroll. Only keep customer information you have permission to store.
