If you turn your alarm off without ever really waking up, this app is for you.

Alarm With Challenges has no snooze button. To turn it off you have to complete a challenge, and nobody can do that while still asleep. By the time you finish, you're awake.

PICK YOUR CHALLENGE
Every alarm gets its own challenge and its own difficulty:
• Math: from simple sums to expressions with parentheses, on a big number pad made for half-open eyes. Get it wrong and the problem changes.
• Memory: repeat a sequence of colors. Every color also has its own shape and number, so it never depends on telling colors apart.
• Sliding puzzle: put the tiles of a 3×3 or 4×4 board in order. It is always solvable.
• Shake: shake the phone 20, 40 or 60 times, depending on difficulty. Hard to do half asleep.
• Random: a different one every morning, so you can't learn it by heart.
You can try any challenge at the chosen difficulty before trusting it with your morning.

IT WON'T LET YOU DODGE IT
• Turning the volume down doesn't silence it: the volume comes back up.
• The Back button does nothing while it rings.
• Press Home or close the app and the challenge comes back.
• It rings over the lock screen and turns the screen on.
• Restart the phone or change the time and your alarms reschedule themselves.
• Settings shows at a glance whether a permission is missing or battery saving could stop it ringing.

WAKE UP WITHOUT A JOLT
• Optional pre-alarm: a gentle heads-up 1 to 30 minutes before the main alarm.
• Progressive volume that starts low and rises over 30 seconds.
• Six built-in tones, your phone's own alarm tones, or any audio file you pick.
• Three vibration patterns.
• A widget with your next alarm.

DESIGNED FOR 6 AM
The alarm screen is always dark, with large type, high contrast and huge buttons. Nothing to decipher with your eyes half shut. The rest of the app follows your phone's light or dark theme.

COMPLETE PRIVACY
• Works offline. The app has no permission to access the internet.
• No ads, no accounts and no tracking of any kind.
• Your alarms are stored on your phone only.
• One-time purchase: everything included from day one, with no subscriptions or in-app purchases.

AN HONEST NOTE
No alarm app can keep ringing if you force-stop it from Android's settings or switch the phone off, and neither can this one. That is the only limit, and we'd rather tell you.

Available in English and Spanish.
