Are your photos and videos out of order in your gallery? After a transfer, a cloud backup, a new phone or a WhatsApp share, file dates often become the copy date. Date Fixer fixes the date of your photos and videos in seconds, and your gallery is back in chronological order.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose a folder (Camera, WhatsApp, Downloads...)
2. The app analyzes each file: OK, to fix, or error
3. Review, adjust if needed, then fix

WHY "ALL FILES ACCESS" IS REQUIRED
Changing the date of files created by other apps (camera, WhatsApp...) is the app's core feature, and Android only allows it with "All files access". Without it, no file can be corrected. The permission is only used to read and change file dates. Everything happens on your phone: no photo or video is uploaded, moved or deleted.

TWO METHODS
• EXIF metadata (recommended): capture date recorded by the camera. For videos, the recording time is converted to the phone's time.
• File name: date written in the name. Recognizes IMG_20250101_123456, VID-..., PXL_..., screenshots, Telegram, Signal, dashcams and WhatsApp (IMG-20250101-WA0001).

YOU STAY IN CONTROL
• Thumbnail, current date, new date and offset (−3 yrs, +2 h...) for each file
• Change a date by hand, unselect a file or swipe to remove it
• Search, sort and a detailed correction log
• Gallery thumbnails and trash are ignored
