Paint a plate, add heat sources and watch 👀 heat spread across it in real time ⏱️.

Mini Plinkoo is a heat conduction bench. You paint a square plate with different materials, set the hot and cold edges, and watch 👀 how heat moves through it.

Press run and the plate fills with colour and contour lines. The lab shows the time ⏱️ simulated, the temperature spread, the mean temperature and how close the plate is to a steady state. When the plate settles, you see 👀 the time it took and the readings at each probe.

What you can do:
- Paint cells with ten built-in materials, from copper and steel to oak, glass, foam and still air.
- Set edges to a fixed temperature or leave them insulated.
- Add heat pads and place probes to read the temperature at a point.
- Run, pause ⏸️, step and reset the simulation.
- Save 💾 your plate with a name and a note 📝, and open it again later.
- Open six reference plates, such as a copper bridge, a fin array or a double pane.
- Compare ⚖️ two materials in a rod race and change the rod length to see 👀 how the half-way time ⏱️ changes.

The run log 📝 keeps every result. Charts 📊 show how fast ⚡ each plate converges and how settling time ⏱️ relates to conductivity. Open a run to see its mean, minimum and maximum temperature and the probe readings.

Trials give you a goal 🎯 on a locked plate. For example, bring a probe to at least 50 degrees using only a small share 🤝 of copper. Paint within the budget 💰, evaluate, and clear the trial to unlock 🔓 the next one. There are eight trials.

Mini Plinkoo suits students, teachers and anyone curious about how materials carry heat. Try a design, check ✅ the numbers 🔢 and compare ⚖️ it with another one.

Open Mini Plinkoo, pick a reference plate and press run to see 👀 the first result in under a minute.
