Koridor is a simple VPN app that tunnels your device's traffic through an SSH server you already own or control.

There's no Koridor-operated server, no account to create, and no third party in the middle. You point the app at your own server, and it does the rest.

HOW IT WORKS

Koridor captures your device's network traffic at the system level and reconstructs each connection over a standard SSH session to your server — the same kind of traffic an ordinary SSH port-forward produces. Your server doesn't need any special VPN software; a normal SSH daemon is enough.

GETTING STARTED TAKES SECONDS

Scan a QR code exported from your server (or enter the connection details by hand), toggle the connection on, and you're routed through your tunnel. There's no manual configuration and no per-app setup — Koridor protects all of your device's traffic at once, not just the traffic from a single app.

BUILT FOR RELIABILITY
If the connection drops, Koridor retries automatically with increasing backoff. If it still can't reconnect, it fails closed rather than silently falling back to unprotected traffic, so your device is never routing traffic in the open without your knowledge. A persistent notification always shows your current connection state.

BUILT FOR PRIVACY

- No analytics, crash reporting, or usage tracking of any kind.
- No advertising, ever.
- Your SSH private key and passphrase are stored only in your device's secure credential store (Android Keystore), and are only ever sent to the server you configured, as part of establishing the tunnel.
- DNS lookups are resolved through the tunnel via your own server's resolver — never leaked outside it, never sent to a third-party DNS provider.
- Koridor keeps a local connection log on your device for troubleshooting. It never leaves your device and is never uploaded anywhere.

PERMISSIONS

Koridor requests the Android VPN service permission to establish the tunnel. That's the only special permission it needs — no contacts, no location, no storage access beyond its own app data.

WHO IT'S FOR

Koridor is aimed at people who already run, or personally trust the operator of, their own server, and want a straightforward, phone-friendly way to route their device's traffic through it — without needing to understand SSH port forwarding themselves. It's a good fit for family members of a technical user who runs a home or cloud server.

WHAT KORIDOR IS NOT

Koridor is not an anonymity tool and does not claim to hide your identity from the server operator or from services you connect to while tunnelled. It does not provide multi-hop routing, a public server network, or any built-in "no-logs" guarantee beyond what's described here — your privacy depends on the server you choose to connect to.
