Corvid Contacts is a contacts manager for Nextcloud and other CardDAV servers that also works entirely on your device — no account, no sign-up, no login required. Add and manage contacts locally from the moment you install it.

If you'd rather sync across devices, you can optionally connect Corvid Contacts to your own self-hosted Nextcloud (or other CardDAV) server at any time — your contacts stay on infrastructure you control, not ours. There's no requirement to ever create an account or connect a server; local-only and synced address books work side by side, and you can move contacts between them whenever you like.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No analytics, ads, or trackers of any kind
• No account required to use the app
• When you do sync, your data goes only to the server you configure — never to us
• Your contacts stay out of Android's shared contacts unless you choose to share an address book
• Address autocomplete defaults to a privacy-respecting provider (OpenStreetMap/Photon), with Google Places available as an opt-in alternative, or fully disabled

FEATURES
• Multiple address books with custom colors and icons
• Merge duplicate contacts, with field-by-field control over what's kept
• Batch actions: share, archive, delete, move, and organize into groups
• Share contacts via vCard or QR code, with control over the details you choose
• Import and export contacts as vCard (.vcf) files
• Link contacts as relationships (spouse, parent, etc.)
• Optional birthday reminders, generated entirely on-device
• Optionally share an address book with your phone's contacts, so Messages and your dialer show names and photos. Off by default, chosen per address book, and edits made there come back to Corvid. The contacts permission is only requested when you turn it on
• Dark mode

Whether you want a simple private contacts app or a full CardDAV client synced to your own server, Corvid Contacts adapts to how much (or little) infrastructure you want to run.
