Welcome to Obsessed

It's not just an app; it's a comforting, insightful space for those who experience obsessive thought patterns.

Designed for people who think deeply, fixate easily, and want a healthier way to relate to their minds. The goal isn't perfection – it's to free up enough headspace for better things, like focus and actual fun!

Grounded in Neuroscience

Created by a neuroscientist in the field of OCD research, Obsessed reflects how the brain actually learns in response to uncertainty… not how we wish it did.

The approach is structured into four phases – Learn, Prepare, Desensitize, and Feel Great – with 730+ curated audio sessions. Each stage is designed to help reduce reactivity, build tolerance for discomfort, and support the brain's natural capacity to shift towards calm.

More Precision = More Freedom

If you've spent years trying to calm anxiety with logic or reassurance, only to find it looping back – you’re perfectly normal. The mind does what it thinks is protective, but this backfires.

It’s far better to do the opposite of what anxiety demands. Obsessed can help you make this shift. You'll learn how to identify and sit with the essence of what makes you uncomfortable.. while at home, or out and about.

Many Themes, Same Underlying Pattern

Obsessed covers a wide range of obsessive themes, some common and some niche. A few examples: relationships, existential concerns, responsibility/harm, checking, sensorimotor, contamination/health, identity, ‘just right’ feelings … And many more! If yours isn’t there, let us know.

Encouraging Exposure & Learning

Right now, your brain needs to learn that your triggers aren’t threats. This starts with sitting with your thoughts correctly, in a way that slots into your busy life. Obsessed takes inspiration from exposure-based approaches, adapted for self-guided, non-clinical use.

Tap into New, Uplifting Emotional States

It's common to think: "Once I feel better, then I can enjoy things." But, emotional shifts work the other way around. The brain needs energy to rewire – and energy comes from movement, delight, novelty, and comfort.

Obsessed includes a Feel Great section, a library of engaging audio sessions to help you break monotony, boost your mood & maintain progress.

Start Targeting Your Unique Triggers, At Your Own Pace

Much of the app is free to explore. Unlocking the premium Desensitize section – with over 620 advanced audio sessions across 32 obsessive themes – is £8.99 / $13.99 / €9.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial.

A Note on Scope

Obsessed is a self-guided, supportive digital resource. It doesn’t diagnose or formally treat OCD or any other condition, and is not a substitute for therapy/clinical care.
