When several insiders at the same company buy their own stock within a few weeks of each other, it tends to mean something. That is a cluster buy, and it is what this app is built to find.

OpenMarketAlerts reads every Form 4 the SEC publishes, keeps only the open-market trades (no grants, no awards, no option exercises), and groups the buys into clusters. Each cluster gets a score from 0 to 100 based on how many insiders bought, how much they spent, how senior they are, whether they were adding to a position or starting one, and where the stock sits in its 52-week range.

What you get

• A feed of cluster buys across NYSE and Nasdaq, newest first, with the score, the total spent and the insiders involved
• Every open-market insider buy and sell, searchable by ticker, role and size
• A page for each company with a price chart, insider trades marked on it, and its cluster history
• A page for each insider with their trades, the companies they file for, and their track record
• Performance boards that show how past clusters and past insider buys actually did after the fact
• A watchlist of companies and insiders, and a dashboard of what they did since you last looked
• Alerts: pick a company, an insider or your whole watchlist and get a push notification when they buy

New filings show up within minutes of the SEC posting them.

About the data

Everything here comes from public SEC filings. Prices are end-of-day. Nothing in this app is investment advice, and past insider buys say nothing certain about future prices. Insiders sell for many reasons and buy for fewer, which is why the app focuses on buys.
