Ikigai is a Japanese idea often described as "a reason for being": the place where what you love, what you're good at, what the world needs and what you can be paid for come together. This app turns that idea into a calm, playful space for reflection.

Four soft, glass-like circles sit on a clean white canvas:
• What you love
• What you're good at
• What the world needs
• What you can be paid for

Tap a circle and add a word. Autocomplete suggests from around 5,200 carefully chosen words, so you can start with something as simple as "Cooking", "Tennis" or "Teaching", or type your own.

Watch your words come alive. Words that belong together drift towards each other, and the overlaps between the circles begin to glow: Passion, Mission, Profession and Vocation. You see connections forming instead of filling in a form.

When four words connect across all four circles, a gentle Ikigai moment unfolds with a gong and a reveal. You get one of 252 result types, each with a short description and a few concrete next steps to try in real life.

Little things to discover:
• Hold a circle for 3 seconds to get a suggested word
• Hold the centre for 5 seconds to see a sample Ikigai
• An Explain overlay and a "How it works" guide whenever you want them
• Calm background music, easy to switch off
• Share your result as an image with anyone you choose
• English and German, switchable at any time

Private by design
Ikigai works completely offline. There is no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The app does not use the internet. Your words and settings are stored only on your device, and you can start over whenever you like.

Ikigai is a tool for reflection and inspiration, not a test or an assessment. Use it to think, play and notice what keeps coming back. Your answers may change over time, and that is part of the journey.
