Don't memorize design patterns. Learn to recognize the problems they solve.

Pattern Quest is a puzzle game about software design. Every level is a small, everyday story: a weather app whose screens show old numbers, a coffee shop that keeps adding toppings, a game hero who acts differently when hurt. Spot what's going wrong, pick the best fix, and only then does the pattern reveal its name.

No code. No UML. Just pictures, short stories and your own reasoning.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Identify – read the situation and choose the design that fixes it
• Match – connect each problem to its solution and its pattern
• Fix – look at a broken design and choose the better structure
• Build – drag blocks into place to assemble the solution yourself

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
10 classic patterns across three worlds:
• Structure – Adapter, Decorator, Facade
• Behavior – Observer, Strategy, State, Command
• Creation – Singleton, Factory, Builder
Plus comparison levels for the pairs people mix up most, like Strategy vs State.

WHY IT WORKS
The same pattern comes back in different disguises (weather alerts, chat, stock prices, game events) until you think "wait, this is the same problem again." That's the moment it clicks.
