Millfall is Nine Men's Morris, the classic strategy board game also known as Mill, Mills or Merels, drawn in pixel art. Close a mill and your warrior or mage walks over and executes the captured piece.

Yes, the screenshots look like one of those fake mobile game ads. They aren't: every screenshot and every second of the trailer is the real game, captured from the Android version.

What the ad promises, and the game actually does
• Line up three in a row and someone dies: 33 different executions, and the death always fits the cause
• Mages turn their victims into frogs, gold or statues, or feed them to a black hole
• Warriors charge, smash, bonk, whirl-throw and blow war horns
• Four arenas, each with two executions that use the stage itself: the pond reaches out, the forge erupts, icicles fall, the stars answer
• The arenas remember: frogs gather at the pond, wrecks pile up by the anvil, statues line the frost, and the Shrine sky keeps a star for the fallen

The real Nine Men's Morris rules
Place your nine pieces, move them along the lines, and when you are down to three, they fly. Close a mill, pick a victim, live with it. Play offline against the computer on four AI levels, from forgiving to merciless, or two players on one phone. New to the mill game? The board highlights every legal move, and AI level 1 goes easy on you. Mostly.

What you won't find
• No ads. Not even this kind.
• No account, no login, no internet connection: the whole game plays offline
• No energy bar, no timers, no loot boxes
• No in-app purchases: you buy the game once
• No bait and switch: it's the mill game from the first move to the last

Things worth bragging about
Every piece has a war-name, and a piece that closes two mills is crowned The Executioner. Every match ends with a woodcut Battle Tapestry of who fell and how. Fill the 33-page Book of Endings, earn 40 deeds, and try to win without losing a single piece.

Made for phones: landscape play, large touch targets, and a battle that saves itself when a call interrupts.

Millfall. Nine Men's Morris where every mill is an execution. Honestly.
