AutoLog Tax records every car trip automatically and turns it into a clean mileage logbook you can hand to your accountant. Rideshare and delivery drivers can also see, in one tap, whether today, this month or this year was profitable. No paperwork, no account.

AutoLog Tax is a record-keeping tool, not tax or legal advice. Logbook rules differ by country: check what your tax authority requires with your accountant.

AUTOMATIC TRIPS
• Recording starts by itself when you drive, and stops when you park or arrive home.
• To do this, AutoLog Tax uses your location in the background, even when the app is closed. You can turn automatic recording off at any time.
• Optional: start and stop with your car's Bluetooth.
• Set your work days and hours: trips during work hours are marked Business, others Personal.
• Swipe a trip to switch Business / Personal, add a purpose, or merge trips split by a fuel stop.

BATTERY FRIENDLY
• GPS only runs while you are actually driving.
• When the car is stationary, location updates are reduced automatically.
• Driving detection uses your phone's low-power motion sensors.

INCOME & PROFIT FOR DRIVERS
• Enter what you earned from Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, Instacart, Grab and more: the amount, tips and hours.
• See profit or loss for today, this week, this month or this year, with a simple chart and profit per hour, per km and per trip.
• Enter a weekly total from your platform's weekly summary; late entries count on the day you choose.
• Reminders for days you drove but have not entered income yet.
• Optional lock: protect income screens with your phone's screen lock or a separate password.

VEHICLE EXPENSES
• Log fuel, tolls, parking, repairs, insurance, car payments, registration, phone and car washes in seconds.
• Pay once, spread automatically: a yearly insurance counts 1/12 each month, a 7-day policy counts per day.
• Enter the odometer when you fill up for accurate km and average fuel use.
• Optional rate per km for countries that use one: reports then add business km × rate.
• AutoLog Tax only records your figures. It does not calculate tax.

LOGBOOK REPORTS
• Monthly, yearly or custom-period reports in PDF and CSV (Excel).
• Optional pages for vehicle costs and for monthly income and profit/loss.
• Summary page with odometer at start and end of period, business and personal distance, business use % and personal use %.
• Every trip with date, time, start and end address, purpose, odometer readings and distance.
• Reports in English, Spanish, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Chinese or Vietnamese.

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
• No account. Your trips, income and expenses are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
• Street addresses are looked up with your phone's built-in address service; maps are loaded from OpenFreeMap.
• Nothing is sold or shared, and there are no ads.
• Back up and restore your data to a file whenever you like.

MORE
• Frequent places (office, warehouse, clients) are shown by name in your trips.
• Add trips manually and edit addresses.
• Maps by OpenFreeMap and OpenStreetMap contributors.
