KingslakeBlue Production Study replaces paper-based time studies with a fast, accurate, offline-first data collection tool built for Industrial Engineers and Work Study Officers on the garment factory floor.

Run a complete production study from your phone or tablet: configure the study, track every operation cycle in real time, log interruptions as they happen, and review the results as charts before syncing to the central KingslakeBlue system.

KEY FEATURES

Real-time cycle tracking
• One-tap start/stop for each operation in the garment's operation breakdown
• Record 1–6 pieces per cycle for bundle-based work
• Count-up and count-down timer display modes
• Zero-drift timing engine — the clock stays accurate even if the screen lags

Single-active-state model
• Only one state is ever active: Operation, Exception, or Pause
• Switching states is instant and unambiguous, so your data stays clean

Exception and non-productive time logging
• Categorized interruptions (thread break, machine jam, no feeding, and your tenant's own exception list)
• Damaged-piece handling with automatic time reclassification from productive to non-productive
• Every state change is written to an automatic activity log — no manual note-taking

Study configuration
• Hybrid select-search for Line, Style, and Operator — pick from a filtered list or type to fuzzy-search
• Operators are filtered to those assigned to the selected line and style
• Search by employee code or name

Offline-first and durable
• Works with no connectivity on the factory floor
• Local encrypted SQLite storage
• Active study auto-saves every 10 seconds, so a dead battery never costs you a study

Summary analytics
• On-device study summary with graphical breakdown of productive vs non-productive time
• Per-operation cycle times and observed performance
• Review before you commit the data

Manual, user-controlled sync
• You decide when data leaves the device — sync one study or all pending studies with an explicit action
• No surprise background uploads

Built for the floor
• High-contrast, "eyes-on-operator" interface
• Large touch targets for gloved hands and quick glances
• Responsive layout for phone (portrait) and tablet (portrait and landscape)
