YOU CLIPPED OUT OF REALITY.

Welcome, Wanderer. You have left the safety of the known world and stumbled into the infinite, yellow-walled labyrinth of the Backrooms.

In this deeply immersive idle horror simulation, survival isn’t about running—it’s about cold calculation. Gather anomalous data, manage your vital resources, and prepare your mind. Can you maintain your sanity long enough to conquer the deepest, darkest levels of the liminal abyss?

Backrooms Idle: The Descent is a "found footage" inspired incremental game that fuses haunting creepypasta aesthetics with deep, addictive idle tycoon mechanics.

+ CORE SIMULATION FEATURES:
IMMERSIVE FOUND FOOTAGE AESTHETIC
Experience Level 0 through a retro VHS lens. Our custom CRT/Glitch engine delivers realistic signal jitter, scanlines, and chromatic aberration for a genuinely unsettling psychological horror atmosphere.

DUAL-CURRENCY ANOMALY ECONOMY
Balance your survival. Harvest Exposure Data (XP) to unlock complex system modules and hoard Almond Water (AW) to keep your sanity bar from hitting zero. Every single tap counts.

M.E.G. EXPEDITIONS (OFFLINE PROGRESS)
Don’t just sit in the dark. Deploy fully equipped M.E.G. scout parties into the unknown. Earn massive passive rewards and resources even while offline. But beware: the connection is unstable, and you must return to re-establish the uplink.

THE ARCHIVE: DEEP HORROR LORE
Decrypt highly classified files on hostile entities like Smilers, Skin-Stealers, and Facelings. Unlocking these dark secrets doesn't just expand the story—it grants permanent multipliers to your resource generation.

ASCENSION PROTOCOL
Are you ready to dive deeper into the madness? Sacrifice your current progress to the Ascension Protocol. Reset your baseline to unlock powerful, reality-bending artifacts and massive permanent multipliers.

+ PROGRESSION & SYSTEM MODULES:
Start as a lost soul trapped in the endless lobby and evolve into a high-clearance M.E.G. Director.

Unlock High-Tech Modules: Progress through Clearance Levels to unlock Navigation, Asset Management, Expeditions, and the Database Wiki.

Secure Supply Crates: Trigger emergency signal boosts to instantly double your offline earnings or recover critical survival supplies.

Aggressive Scaling: The deeper you descend, the harsher the environment becomes. You'll need sharp strategy to optimize your Explorer Points per Second (EPS).

+ PREMIUM POLISH & AUDIO:
Tactile typewriter-style terminal log feed.

Immersive haptic feedback that reacts to reality glitches.

A dynamic, evolving "Electrical Hum" soundscape that brings the dead space to life. Put your headphones on.
