Use what you have. Waste less.

Use It Fresh knows what is in your kitchen, tells you what to use first, and gives you meal ideas from the food you already have.

SCAN YOUR KITCHEN TO GET STARTED
• Photograph your fridge, freezer and pantry, a shelf at a time
• Your first three shelf scans are free
• Check what we found, then add it in one go

SCAN YOUR SHOPPING TO KEEP IT UP TO DATE
• Photograph a receipt and its food is ready to add, placed where it is usually kept
• Scan a barcode, photograph one food, or type it in
• Food you already have is checked, not added twice

KNOW WHAT TO USE FIRST
• Every food shows how long it has left
• A printed date says Printed; our estimate says Estimate, and never pretends to be more
• Use first gathers what needs eating soon; Clean up clears what is past its date
• A reminder when something needs using, if you want one

COOK WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE
• Tonight: three dinners from what needs using, for everyone at home
• Meal ideas built around a food, a time or a goal
• Allergies and diets left out of every idea
• I cooked and ate this takes the food off your kitchen for you

ONE KITCHEN, SHARED
• Your household sees the same food, shopping list and plans, live
• The shopping list goes from list, to trolley, to kitchen
• Free kitchens are for two people; Plus is for up to six

HONEST ABOUT FOOD
Use It Fresh keeps track of food and dates. It never tells you food is safe or spoiled, and it never invents a use-by date. Meal ideas are written by a machine from the names of your food, and leaving out allergies is not a medical check: read the label on anything you cook with, every time.

PRIVACY
No advertising and no tracking. Your food, photos and plans belong to you and your household. You can delete your account, and everything only you use, from inside the app.
