Topa lets you pay for the things your family actually needs while you are anywhere in the world— electricity, water, school fees, airtime, data, groceries, DStv, council rates and more — from anywhere in the world, in seconds. You can also send money through the same app. Imagine you are in the UK and your grandmother in Zimbabwe runs out of electricity midnight. That where Topa comes in.
Sometimes, instead of sending cash and hoping it reaches the bill, you pay the provider directly. Your family gets the token, receipt or voucher on their phone. No queues, no bus fare into town, no “did it arrive?” phone calls.
SEND THE REASON, NOT JUST THE MONEY Every transfer home has a purpose. Topa pays that purpose directly:
Electricity: ZESA prepaid tokens delivered to the meter and by SMS in seconds
Airtime and data: any network, instant top-up, bundles included
School and university fees: paid straight to the school with a receipt for both of you
Water and council rates: Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare and other councils
TV and internet: DStv, TelOne and more
Medical aid and funeral cover: keep the cover active every month
Grocery vouchers: ready-made hampers or a custom amount, redeemable on the ClicknPay marketplace and at partner stores
Property: deposits and instalments to participating developers
Send money: to mobile wallets and bank accounts, from the same app
PAY IN YOUR OWN CURRENCY, AT THE BEST RATE Topa is built for the global diaspora. You see the price in your currency and the exchange rate before you confirm — no US-dollar pricing, no double conversion, no hidden fees. What you see is what you pay.
BUILT FOR BUSY LIVES - Save meter numbers, accounts and phone numbers once; pay again in one tap - “Send again” straight from your history - “Buy for self” when the airtime or token is for you - Full history with filters, receipts and the amount your family received - Reminders before school terms and monthly bills
SAFE AND VERIFIED Topa is operated by ClicknShare Ltd, a UK-registered company (No. 16166273), and payments are routed through regulated partners to vetted providers. Identity verification is quick and in-app; light checks to get started, full checks before money moves.
FROM THE CLICKNPAY FAMILY If you have used ClicknPay Remit, this is the next step: the same team, the same trusted network, and now every essential in one app. Topa runs on the ClicknShare gateway, which connects licensed remitters to a growing network of utilities, schools, councils, retailers and developers across Africa. New providers are added every month.
Are you a vendor or agent inside Zimbabwe? You want ClicknPay Africa instead.
WHAT “TOPA” MEANS Topa is Shona for “we are giving” — and it sounds like top-up. It comes from Ubuntu: I am because we are.
