Settld keeps the money that goes round a household: the people who work in your home, the
bills you keep forgetting, and what you and your friends still owe each other.

It works entirely on your phone. No account, no server, no ads. The app does not even ask
Android for internet permission, so your records cannot leave the device unless you export
them yourself.

PEOPLE WHO WORK IN YOUR HOME
• Salaried staff, vendors paid a flat amount, and anyone billed by quantity — milk, water,
newspapers — at a price per unit.
• Pay monthly, every two months, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly, per person.
• Mark attendance in one tap: present, leave, half day, holiday. Set weekly offs once.
• A paid-leave allowance each cycle; extra leave is deducted at the rate you choose.
• Add-on jobs at a flat rate — a fridge clean, an extra wash — counted as they happen, or set
to repeat weekly, on weekdays, or on a day of the month. A day off or a leave is not charged.
• Advances you can recover in instalments, plus bonuses, extra work and deductions.
• Pay and rate revisions keep their history, so past cycles never change.
• Store a UPI ID, UPI number or bank account, and hand the payment to your UPI app with the
amount already filled in.

A STATEMENT THAT ADDS UP
Every settlement shows its arithmetic: pay, leave deduction with the per-day rate, add-on jobs,
advance instalments, bonuses, and anything carried forward. The lines always sum to the total,
because the maths uses exact fractions and rounds once. Settling does not freeze a cycle:
correct a day months later and the statement is revised, says so, and the difference carries
forward. Share a payment slip as an image when someone wants proof.

BILLS YOU KEEP FORGETTING
• Monthly, every N months, yearly, or every N days.
• Fixed amounts, or variable ones you enter when the bill arrives.
• Credit cards with statement day, due day, total and minimum due — last 4 digits only.
• Auto-pay, snooze, pause, cancel, partial payments, and a price-change history.
• Reminders before a bill is due, when it is overdue, when a statement is ready and when a
free trial is about to end. Mark paid or snooze from the notification.

SPLIT WITH FRIENDS
• Shared expenses with anyone — a trip, a flat, one dinner — in groups or with no group.
• Split equally, by exact amounts, or by shares when someone owes twice as much.
• Exact balances with every person, plus a shortcut showing the fewest payments that would
clear a group. The exact figures stay on screen; the shortcut is only a suggestion.
• Add a friend by typing their details or by scanning the code on their phone. The camera
reads the code and nothing else: no image is kept, written or sent.
• Money you have lent stays out of your household totals — a loan is not spending.

THE MONTH AT A GLANCE
• Home shows what you have paid, what is overdue and what falls due in the next seven days.
• A calendar in month, week or day views, with attendance markable in place and the day each
pay cycle was actually settled.
• Reports: where the money went, six months of trend, each person's year, and what your
subscriptions will cost over the next twelve months. Export any month to CSV.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
• No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads, no trackers.
• No internet permission, so nothing can be uploaded in the background.
• Card numbers are never stored — only the last four digits.
• An optional app lock using your fingerprint, face or screen lock, which also hides the app
in the task switcher.
• Back up to a single file you control and restore it on a new phone. A safety copy is kept
before every restore, so a restore can itself be undone.

Amounts are grouped in lakhs, the rupee is the default currency, and the app understands how
household help is actually paid.

Settled is what a month should be — an honest reckoning of what you owe, what you are owed and
what you have paid, kept on your own phone.
