GroqBoard - AI Voice Keyboard

Speak, type or swipe. Fast voice dictation, a full QWERTY keyboard and AI editing in every app, powered by Groq.

GroqBoard is free with your own API key. Or take the monthly plan and the key is included, with nothing to set up.

KEEP THE KEYBOARD YOU ALREADY LOVE

You do not have to switch keyboards to dictate. GroqBoard docks a small dictation button onto the top row of the keyboard you already use, measured against that keyboard's own controls so it matches their size, position and colour. It comes and goes with the keyboard, in every app.

Tap to dictate, long-press to edit by voice, swipe down to cancel, double-tap to read aloud. Prefer a floating mic or the full GroqBoard keyboard? Both are still there.

PHONE FEATURES

🎙️ Voice Typing: Speak and your words appear, using Whisper Large V3 on Groq's hardware. Any app, any text field.

⌨️ Full QWERTY + Swipe: One tap between voice and keys. Swipe typing, emoji, and a keyboard you resize by dragging.

✨ AI Voice Editing: Press the magic wand and speak your edit. "Make this more formal." "Fix the grammar." Rewritten instantly.

⚡ Smart Actions: Translate, summarize, reply, rephrase or fix grammar in one tap.

🔊 Read Aloud: Hear selected text, or the last messages you got, in natural AI voices.

📋 Voice Snippets: Save your address, email or anything you retype, then say the trigger phrase.

🕘 History: Your last 5 transcriptions, one tap away.

🧠 Smarter Typing: Autocorrect that reads the word before it, fat-finger correction, and suggestions from message one. Spanish accents handled properly, and it learns how you write, on your device.

🌐 9 Languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Japanese and Greek, plus bilingual auto-detection. Two favourites, one-tap switching.

🔌 Bring Your Own AI: Use Groq, or an OpenRouter key for Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama and more, or Soniox for realtime dictation.

📝 Make It Yours: Add names, terms and slang in Custom Instructions. Import a .txt chat export to train predictions.

WEAR OS

⌚ Dictate from your wrist in any app. Settings sync from your phone automatically.

WHY DOES GROQBOARD USE THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE?

Only to place the dictation button and insert your text. Specifically:

• To show the docked button or floating bubble when you tap a text field, and hide it when you leave.
• To measure the keyboard on screen, so the button matches its controls instead of covering them.
• To insert your dictated text into the focused field in any app.
• To respond to hands-free commands from automation apps like MacroDroid.

It does NOT record calls, capture audio in the background, track your activity or read your personal data. Turn it off any time in Android Settings, Accessibility, GroqBoard; the app still works without it.

PRIVACY

🔒 With your own API key, audio goes from your phone straight to the AI provider you chose. There is no GroqBoard server in the middle at all.
🔒 On the monthly plan it passes through our proxy, which holds the key so it never ships inside the app. Streamed through, never stored.
🔒 Recordings are processed and discarded, never stored by us.
🔒 Your API keys, snippets, vocabulary, and learned words stay on your device.
🔒 No ads, no tracking, no data collection.

PRICING

✅ Free with your own API key. The whole app, not a trial, and nothing to pay us.
💳 Or $2.99 a month with the key included: nothing to set up and always on our best models.
🔄 Switch between the two any time from Settings. Nothing gets deleted either way.
👑 Bought before v5.0? Your licence stays yours, plus 6 months of the plan on us.

• A free API key from Groq, OpenRouter or Soniox, or the monthly plan instead.
