Nexiom gives you a clear, independent view of how your current internet connection performs.
Run a network test to measure:
• Download speed
• Upload speed
• Latency
• Jitter
• Connection type
• Mobile network generation when available
Tests work on mobile data and Wi-Fi. Mobile-data results can contribute to independent carrier comparisons. Wi-Fi results are recorded separately so they are not presented as mobile-network performance.
Nexiom does not require an account.
When you start a test, Nexiom may ask for foreground location permission so it can identify the physical country where the test was performed. Precise coordinates are never displayed publicly. If location access is denied or unavailable, the test still runs and Nexiom leaves the physical country unknown rather than guessing it from network routing.
On Android, a cellular test or optional Monitoring Mode may ask for Phone permission. Nexiom uses this permission only to identify whether the current radio connection is 2G, 3G, 4G, or 5G.
Nexiom cannot place, answer, hear, record, or inspect calls. It does not access your contacts, messages, phone number, microphone, or call history. You can deny Phone permission and continue using speed tests and Monitoring Mode. Cellular generation will then be recorded as unknown.
OPTIONAL NETWORK MONITORING
Monitoring Mode helps observe how your connection changes over time. When enabled, it can record connectivity changes, recovery events, and lightweight latency observations without requiring a complete manual speed test.
You control Monitoring Mode and can:
• Enable or disable monitoring at any time
• Choose a balanced or detailed monitoring policy
• Choose conservative or standard battery use
• Restrict monitoring uploads to Wi-Fi
• Decide whether to provide location evidence
• Review pending uploads and the most recent synchronization
• Manually request a fresh observation with Force Sync
Monitoring observations are kept separate from complete speed-test evidence. Passive observations are not represented as full download or upload measurements.
Carrier comparisons appear only when enough verified samples are available. Crowd-sourced measurements describe the experience of participating users and do not represent complete network coverage.
Nexiom is built around measurement integrity. When carrier, location, or network evidence is uncertain, the result remains unknown rather than being guessed.
