Best Caller shows you who is calling, keeps spam calls and messages away, and lets you call and chat with other Best Caller users over the internet.

Caller ID
See the name, location and spam score of unknown numbers on the incoming-call screen. Names come from Best Caller profiles and from contacts that users have chosen to share.

Spam blocking and Do Not Disturb
• Numbers that the community reports as spam are blocked automatically, even without internet (offline spam list).
• Keep your own blocklist and report spam numbers.
• Set quiet hours (DND) for calls.

SMS with a Spam folder
Make Best Caller your SMS app to read and send texts. Suspicious messages go to a separate Spam folder. To check a message from a number that is not in your contacts, the sender and the message text are sent to our server.

App-to-app calls and chat
• Voice and video calls with other Best Caller users over Wi-Fi or mobile data. Best Caller does not charge for these calls; your data plan applies.
• Chat with emoji, typing indicators, and photos, videos and files up to 25 MB.
• Your chats stay in sync between your phone and bestcallerapp.com for 90 days.
• Record a Best Caller call if you need to: the recording is saved only on your phone, and the other person sees a "Recording" notice. SIM calls cannot be recorded.

Your own number
Get a 7-digit Best Caller number that people can use to call and message you in the app, or use your verified mobile number instead. Sharing the 7-digit number keeps your mobile number private.

One call history
SIM 1, SIM 2 and Best Caller calls in one list, kept for 90 days, with filters for missed calls and each SIM.

Backup to your Google Drive
Back up your call history, your SMS (while Best Caller is your SMS app) and your settings to your own Google Drive. Your call and SMS history is never sent to Best Caller servers.

Sign in with Google, or with your mobile number: the app verifies the number by sending one ordinary SMS from your phone to itself (normal SMS charges may apply).

Permissions and privacy
• Android only lets the default phone app and SMS app screen calls and filter messages, so Best Caller asks to become your default. You can change this at any time in Android settings.
• Uploading your contacts is optional and stays off until you agree. If you agree, your contacts' names and numbers are uploaded to help identify callers for you and other users.
• No ads.
• Delete your account at any time in the app or at bestcallerapp.com/delete-account.

Best Caller calls cannot be used to reach emergency services. Use your phone's normal dialer for emergencies.
