SnapTracker is the football timing and analytics app built for coaches, analysts and fans. It delivers professional-grade tools for real-time play analysis, designed to be driven with one hand while you keep your eyes on the field.

SnapTracker is free.

There is no purchase in this app and no subscription. Play recording, the full tagging system, live statistics, every chart and your complete play history all work with no account at all.

Creating a free Snap-Central account — no payment, no card, nothing to cancel — lifts the usage caps:

• Unlimited plays per game (50 without an account) • Unlimited simultaneous games (1 without an account) • Play editing and correction • CSV export

Core Features:

• Precision Play Timing - Volume button control keeps your eyes on the field while recording exact play durations with haptic feedback

• Game Session Management - Games hold isolated data. Switch between varsity, JV, or opponent analysis seamlessly

• Advanced Tagging System - Two-dimensional approach separating technical outcomes from game impact, mirroring how coaches think about plays

• Pre-snap Capture - Track quarter, score, possession, down/distance, yard line, and optional hash position with intelligent field linking

• Post-play Classification - Run/Pass/Kick categorization with dynamic subtypes and automatic game state transitions

• Penalty Tracking - Team-aware penalty types with live and dead ball flows and an enforcement calculator

• Professional Analytics - Three swipeable windows:

Team Statistics: Comprehensive comparative analysis, including SP+ metrics — success rate, explosiveness, field position and red zone efficiency
Interactive Charts: Down/distance, run/pass trends, run direction, success rates
Drive Chart: Field position tracking with outcome markers
• Data Export - CSV format with customizable time buffers for video synchronization

• Play Editing - Navigate and correct historical plays with automatic statistic recalculation

Optional Connected Feature:

This is off until you switch it on, and it is not needed to track a game.

• Live Game Sharing - Push plays to a public web page as you tag them, so staff, parents and remote analysts can follow the game as it happens. Requires SnapCount, a separate Snap-Central product

Technical Excellence:

Built entirely in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose and Material3 design. Features MVVM architecture with unidirectional data flow for reliable performance. Background database operations keep UI responsive during intensive processing.

Football Intelligence:

Understands football rules with automatic state transitions. Touchdowns update scores and possession. Turnovers flip field position. Distance and yard line stay synchronized. Configurable field length from 80 to 100 yards. Everything follows official football conventions.

Perfect For:

Head coaches needing real-time game management
Assistant coaches tracking positional tendencies
Statistical analysts requiring professional metrics
Scout teams analyzing opponent patterns
Youth programs developing comprehensive tracking
Privacy:

Everything you need to track a game works entirely offline. Your football data is stored on your device and is never uploaded unless you deliberately create an account or take a game live. No ads, no analytics SDKs, no third-party tracking, and nothing sold to anyone. A stadium with no signal is the case this app is built for.

Test Data System:

Practice with realistic game scenarios featuring different team archetypes. Includes penalty distributions, turnover scenarios, and authentic game flow patterns.

Transform your football analysis with purpose-built tools that serious programs demand.
