Driving electric is a big step for the planet — but not all charging is equal. The power that charges your EV still comes from a grid, and depending on where you plug in, that electricity can be clean or surprisingly dirty. ChargeMix shows you the difference, so you can charge greener every time.

Find the cleanest places to charge, and see the real impact of every charge — in pounds of CO2, compared to a gasoline car.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Find the greenest stations near you
See charging stations on a map and in a ranked list, ordered by how clean the local grid is. Each station gets a simple A–F grade and shows its renewable, nuclear, and fossil-fuel mix at a glance.

• Know your real impact
Every time you charge, ChargeMix works out how many pounds of CO2 you saved versus driving the same distance in a gas car — based on your car's battery and range.

• Charge at home or on the road
Tap Charge and the app knows whether you're at home or out. At home it uses your own energy setup; away, it suggests the nearest station so you can check in with a single tap.

• Add your own clean energy
Have solar panels or wind at home? Add them in "My ChargeMix" and set how much of your home charging they cover — your home charges will reflect your own clean power, not just the grid.

• See how your state stacks up
Explore the grid fuel mix and renewable share for every U.S. state, and see where yours ranks.

• Track your progress
Watch your total CO2 savings grow with every charge, keep a charging streak going, and look back over your charging history.
