Turn the study materials you already have into a simplified and structured learning experience with Sumri — and understand faster.

Sumri is a purpose-built AI study app for students. Bring your lecture notes, PDFs, documents, photographed materials, scanned pages, images or supported public links, and Sumri turns the material into a connected Study Kit designed for understanding, revision and self-testing.

Each Study Kit can include:

• Academic Summary — organizes the main ideas and important information from your material.

• Simple Explanation — explains difficult concepts in clearer, easier-to-understand language.

• Definitions — identifies and explains important terms, concepts and key information.

• Smart Quiz — creates revision questions from the material so you can test your understanding.

• Ask — lets you ask follow-up questions grounded in the material contained in your Study Kit.

Study from your own materials

Sumri supports multiple ways to bring in what you need to study, including:

• Scanned textbook pages, handwritten notes and printed materials
• Images from your device
• PDF, DOCX and TXT documents
• Supported public HTTPS webpages

Instead of starting with an empty general-purpose AI chat, Sumri begins with the material you actually need to understand.

Understand difficult material

Use Academic Summary to see the structure of a topic, Simple Explanation to work through difficult ideas, and Definitions to clarify important concepts and terminology.

Revise through active practice

Smart Quiz turns your material into questions for revision and self-testing, helping you move beyond simply rereading notes.

Ask from your Study Kit

When something is unclear, use Ask to continue exploring the material. Questions and responses remain connected to what you are studying so you can investigate concepts in context.

Save and return to your Study Kits

Eligible completed Study Kits can be kept in your Library so you can return to previously processed material. Supported Study Kits and completed Ask histories can also synchronize with your Sumri account for continuity.

Study in your preferred language

Sumri supports Study Kit output in English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and Simplified Chinese, allowing you to choose the language you want for generated study content.

Built for focused study

Whether you are preparing from lecture notes, reviewing a PDF, working through photographed materials or trying to understand a difficult topic, Sumri gives you one structured place to move from source material to understanding, revision, self-testing and follow-up questions.

AI-generated study content may contain errors or omissions. Verify important academic information against trusted course materials, textbooks and your lecturers or instructors.
