Blurpaper turns any photo into a softly blurred, dimmed wallpaper — for anyone who wants a calmer, more readable home or lock screen without hunting through a stock pack for something that works behind their icons and clock.

Pick a photo with your phone's own photo picker, then drag two sliders — Blur and Dim — and watch the full-screen preview update instantly. There's no "apply" step and no guessing: the preview runs through the exact same image pipeline as the final file, so what you see while sliding is exactly what you get when you save or set it.

HOW IT WORKS
• Pick any photo from your gallery — no special storage access required.
• Drag Blur (0–100) and Dim (0–100) independently; the full-screen preview updates live.
• Press and hold to compare against the original, to judge the effect at a glance.
• Save the result as a JPEG to Pictures/Blurpaper, or set it as Home screen, Lock screen, or both.
• The app re-themes itself with Material You, picking up colors from your current wallpaper.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
Many "blur wallpaper" apps are thin wrappers around one blur strength and a lot of ads. Blurpaper gives you two independent controls and a genuinely live full-screen preview, not a small thumbnail — with a WYSIWYG guarantee: blur radius is normalized to your image's resolution, so the result looks the same regardless of screen size or export resolution.

FREE, PRIVATE, AND OFFLINE
Blurpaper is completely free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. It also asks for nothing: no account, no sign-in, no internet connection. The app has no networking code and cannot reach the internet even if it wanted to. It collects no analytics and no crash reports, and doesn't know or care who you are. The only permission it declares is the one needed to set a wallpaper. Every photo you choose is processed only in memory, on your device — nothing is ever uploaded.

WHO IT'S FOR
If you've ever wanted a wallpaper that's just blurred and dimmed enough to keep icons and widgets legible without the photo behind them fighting for attention, this is a small, focused tool for exactly that — nothing more, nothing less.
