MQTT Easy is a simple MQTT client. Enter your broker, press Connect, and see your topics and their latest values laid out as a tree. No adverts, no tracking and no Techdotrom account. One small payment, with no subscription and nothing extra to buy inside the app.

What it shows
- Every topic the broker sends, as a tree you can open and close
- The latest value beside each topic
- The last 100 messages for any topic, with the time each arrived
- JSON laid out so it is easy to read, and binary data as hex
- Which messages were retained by the broker

What you can do
- Choose which topics to subscribe to (for example home/#), or leave it on everything
- Publish a message with the QoS and retain setting you want
- Copy a topic or a value with one tap
- Save your brokers as profiles, with passwords stored encrypted
- Clear the list without disconnecting
- Reconnect with one tap if the connection drops, keeping what you already had

Works with standard brokers
MQTT Easy connects directly over TCP using MQTT 3.1.1, on port 1883 or over TLS on port 8883, with or without a username and password. It stays responsive on busy brokers.

Secure connections
- TLS with brokers that use a certificate from a recognised authority, with nothing to set up
- For a broker with a private certificate, choose its CA certificate file so the broker is checked properly
- An "allow self-signed" option for brokers you trust on your own network

Private by design
MQTT Easy connects directly to the broker you enter. Your broker credentials, MQTT client ID and published messages are sent only to that broker to provide the features you use. Techdotrom does not provide a broker and receives none of this data. The app contains no adverts or analytics. Broker connections use TLS when you enable it; plain TCP connections are not encrypted. Saved passwords are kept encrypted on your phone and are not included in cloud backups.

Good to know
- MQTT 5 and WebSocket connections are not supported in this version.
- Client certificates are not supported in this version.
- A published message can switch equipment that is listening for it. Only connect to brokers you own or have permission to use.
