Your position as a 10-digit grid, big enough to read at arm's length. A topo map with a true MGRS grid overlay. The full MIL-STD-2525 symbol set. And the land-nav tools you actually use in the field — all offline-capable, no account, no ads.

MGRS GPS is built for soldiers, veterans, cadets, and serious land navigators who think in grid squares, not street addresses.

- Haptic azimuth guide: pocket the phone, feel which way to correct
- Phonetic grid spell-out, radio-ready
- Hand your position to any phone with a QR code

THE MAP
- Topographic, satellite, and street base layers, plus your own MBTiles files
- True MGRS grid overlay at every zoom — GZD to 10 m squares
- Elevation contours generated on-device, worldwide, over any base layer
- Elevation at the crosshair, terrain shading, map rotation
- Download areas for fully offline use

TERRAIN ANALYSIS
- Line-of-sight checks with earth-curvature correction
- Viewshed: shade the map by what an observer can see — visible, partial defilade, masked — with day and night palettes
- Elevation profiles for any route with total climb and descent

PLOT LIKE AN RTO
- 124 MIL-STD-2525 unit symbols, searchable — infantry to SOF, mortars to seaports — in all four affiliations with echelons from team to army
- 20 tactical mission task glyphs: ambush, SBF, seize, breach, and more, rotatable to your direction of fire
- Control measures: phase lines, boundaries, axes, objectives, battle positions, engagement areas, NAI/TAI, sectors of fire, range rings, obstacles, FLOT
- Night mode: red-on-black with doctrinal ENY marking

- Printable PDF strip maps
- Track recording with breadcrumb trail and GPX export
- Practice course mode: scored, timed land-nav courses

- Built-in field reference: phonetic alphabet, grid reading, terrain features

INTEROP
- Import/export GPX, KML, KMZ
