Are you able to solve chess puzzles but struggle to find those same tactics in your own games? Or are you simply looking to improve your tactical awareness? Then this app is for you.

Chess Pro Trainer will transform how you train tactics. It improves your tactical vision, calculation, pattern recognition, and overall chess strength through realistic in-game simulation. This is more than just a chess app — it is a complete tactical training system.

What sets this app apart is that you do not know when the tactic occurs. In most puzzle apps, you know a tactic exists from the very first move. Here, it may appear on the 1st, 3rd, or even 7th move, creating a true in-game simulation. Each position is taken from real games played by everyday players, YouTube creators, super grandmasters, and some of the greatest players in chess history.

Most puzzle apps only train you HOW to solve tactics. Chess Pro Trainer teaches you HOW and WHEN to look for them using the 6 Tactics Recognition Conditions taught throughout the app. This creates a far more realistic training experience that translates directly into your real games.

Unlike traditional puzzle apps where moves are simply marked right or wrong, Chess Pro Trainer features an advanced alternate acceptable move system. In many positions, users can earn credit for finding Valid, Equal, or even Better moves compared to the move played in the actual game — rewarding creativity, strong decision-making, and engine-level tactical vision.

By focusing on the most critical moments in real games, this app trains your decision-making where it matters most, dramatically accelerating your improvement.

The app includes the following core training modules:

1. Tactics Recognition Training
The core of the app. Each position is divided into two phases:
Phase 1 ("Pre-Tactic") — Answer Yes/No to the question: "Is there a tactical sequence here?" while the game progresses automatically.
Phase 2 ("Tactic") — Solve the position by making the correct moves just like a traditional puzzle.
Includes an advanced analysis board powered by the Stockfish chess engine to explore positions and variations.

2. Genius Training
Focuses on aggressive, high-level play involving sacrifices. Develop your attacking instincts and calculation.

3. Checks Training
Master the ability to identify all possible checks — a fundamental skill often overlooked but critical for strong play.

4. Coordinated Squares Training
Learn to recognize key "action squares" — squares attacked by multiple pieces — which are often the foundation of powerful tactics. The closer they are to your opponent's king, the more important they become.

5. Unprotected Pieces Training
Train your ability to identify vulnerable pieces using a unique and deeper definition of what "unprotected" truly means.

6. Mate Puzzles Training
Sharpen your checkmate vision with puzzles from Mate in 1 through Mate in 8. Visualization Mode freezes the position on the board, forcing you to calculate the entire mating sequence in your head — training the blindfold calculation skills top players rely on. Multi-Checkmate Mode challenges you to find every possible mating solution in positions with more than one answer.

Track your progress with a scoring system, global leaderboard, and detailed statistics. Choose difficulty levels for each module and customize your experience with board themes, sound settings, and training preferences. Practice your coordinates with the Learning Coordinates module or dive into the hypothetical with the Random Position Generator module.

Whether beginner or advanced, Chess Pro Trainer offers a focused, efficient way to improve your chess skills.

Chess Pro Trainer is a growing platform with many new modules, features, and innovations already planned — this is just the beginning. You may never need another chess app again.
