Dungeon Crawl 94: What Was Taken

Enter a turn-based pixel RPG where every step moves the world around you.

Something was taken from you.

Your journey to recover it will lead you across dangerous roads, forgotten caves, ancient forests, quiet towns, hidden places, and a castle where far greater dangers await.

Dungeon Crawl 94: What Was Taken is a classic-inspired dungeon crawler built around exploration, character progression, and strategic turn-based gameplay. Every movement matters. When you take a step, the world takes a step with you. Enemies move, creatures wander, threats close in, and the adventure continues one turn at a time.

EXPLORE A WORLD WITH DEPTH

Dungeon Crawl 94 combines traditional top-down pixel art with a unique rendering system designed to give the world a greater sense of distance and depth. Look beyond the immediate grid to see skies, horizons, distant scenery, forests, mountains, towns, and the world stretching beyond your character.

Explore procedurally generated and randomized environments filled with roads, caves, forests, dungeons, towns, secrets, treasure, hazards, enemies, and unexpected discoveries. Each adventure can unfold differently from the last.

EVERY MOVE IS A TURN

This isn't a fast-action RPG. Take your time.

Movement advances the world, giving you an opportunity to consider positioning, enemies, terrain, equipment, spells, and your surroundings before committing to your next action.

Fight with melee weapons, bows, and magic. Learn elemental spells, discover powerful equipment, use potions and supplies wisely, and adapt your strategy to the dangers ahead.

BUILD YOUR CHARACTER

Choose a class and develop your character through attributes including Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom, Speed, Constitution, and Luck.

Build toward the adventurer you want to play. Become a powerful warrior, rely on speed and ranged attacks, master magic, or create a balanced character capable of handling whatever the world throws at you.

Discover weapons, armor, rings, spell books, potions, rare equipment, and legendary treasures as you explore.

SURVIVE THE JOURNEY

The world is more dangerous than its monsters.

Water can slow your movement. Pits can end an adventure. Lava, darkness, traps, hidden dangers, and limited resources can turn exploration into a calculated risk.

Rest when you can, craft useful supplies at campfires, manage what you carry, and decide whether that unexplored path is worth the danger.

FIND A COMPANION

Not every creature you encounter has to become an enemy. Animals can become loyal companions and travel alongside you. Care for them and they can grow with you throughout your adventure.

DISCOVER WHAT WAS TAKEN

Follow quests, search for secrets, discover hidden treasures, meet unusual characters, fight dangerous bosses, and piece together your journey as you travel deeper into the world.

Some discoveries may help you survive.

Others may make you wish you had never found them.
