MeetPlayNow runs amateur racket-sport leagues. You enter a competition, the app draws your opponent each round, you agree a court and a time in the chat, you play — and the score you enter moves the standings and your ELO rating straight away.

Six sports: tennis, padel, pickleball, badminton, squash and ping pong. Each one is a separate profile with its own rating.

HOW A SEASON WORKS

1. Pick your sport and state your level. That sets your starting rating; after a few matches your results decide it instead.
2. Enter a competition. You pay once, for that competition. There is no subscription.
3. Round one pairs you by rating. Every round after that pairs you with a player on your own points whom you have not faced yet — the Swiss system, the one chess tournaments use.
4. You and your opponent arrange the match yourselves in the app's chat: which court, which day, what time. Court costs are shared between you.
5. The winner enters the score. Standings and both ELO ratings update immediately. If the score is wrong, the other player disputes it and a person on our side decides the case.
6. When the rounds are done, the top players go through to the playoffs.

WHAT IS IN THE APP

• Your matches, each showing what it is waiting for
• Tournament standings and the city ranking, updated after every result
• Chat with your opponent, and announcements from the organiser
• Your ELO history, sport by sport
• Joker cards to postpone a match, in competitions where the organiser enabled them
• Card payment for the entry fee, handled by Stripe
• Doubles: enter with a partner
• A photo from the match, if you both want one there
• English and Thai, light and dark

WHAT IT IS NOT

• It is not a court-booking app. You book the court yourselves and split the cost.
• It is not a casual meet-up group. Every match is scored, ranked and on a deadline.
• There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no third-party tracker in it. It never asks for your location, your contacts or your photo library.

THE RULES ARE IN THE OPEN

Every competition publishes its full rules in the app before you enter: the match format, how league points are awarded, what happens when someone does not turn up, and what a cancellation is refunded. Chat has reporting and blocking, and a moderator reads every report.

WHO IT IS FOR

Players who want real competitive matches on a schedule, without joining a club — from a first league to competitive amateurs. An account is required, and there is a minimum age that depends on the country you play in.
