PulseNet Scanner turns your Android phone into a portable network scanner and diagnostics dashboard. Connect to Wi-Fi, tap scan, and see the devices sharing your network — with live telemetry, scan history, and a full field toolkit for troubleshooting.

Built for home users, tinkerers, and the IT-curious who want to understand their own network.

DISCOVER YOUR NETWORK
• Scan your Wi-Fi subnet and list active devices
• Quick, deep, and custom scan modes with tunable timeout and retries
• Per-device details: IP, hostname, vendor, open ports, and latency
• Host confidence scoring so you know how reliable each result is
• Device inventory with labels and notes that persist between scans

LIVE INSIGHT
• Real-time telemetry: average ping and Wi-Fi signal as the scan runs
• Scan history with per-session snapshots — see exactly what was online during a past scan
• Trend charts across recent sessions
• Network intelligence: manufacturer mix, service distribution, OS hints, and exposed services

FIELD TOOLBOX
• Wi-Fi survey of nearby access points, bands, channels, and signal
• DNS lookups and endpoint probes
• Traceroute and Wake-on-LAN
• Network topology map
• Export inventory, history, and diagnostics as CSV or JSON
• Optional background alerts when a new device appears on your network

PRIVACY-FIRST
• Scan history, notes, and settings stay on your device
• No cloud sync and no automatic upload of your scan data
• Data leaves the device only when you export it or run an outbound tool yourself
• PulseNet includes Google Mobile Ads; the ads SDK collects advertising identifiers and related data, and users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are asked for consent before ads load
• Ad data is never used to build your scan results or device inventory

WHAT IT IS (AND ISN'T)
PulseNet uses Play-safe, sandbox-friendly techniques — TCP connect probes, mDNS/SSDP/NBNS/LLMNR discovery, reverse DNS, and reachability checks. It does not use root, hidden APIs, or raw packet capture. Android may withhold some details (SSID, MAC, or hostnames) depending on your device and permissions, and the active scan is IPv4-first.

PERMISSIONS
Android gates Wi-Fi details behind location and nearby-device permissions, so PulseNet requests them only to read your network's name and scan your local subnet. Your location is never tracked, stored, or shared.

RESPONSIBLE USE
PulseNet is a diagnostics tool for networks you own, manage, or are authorized to inspect. Please scan responsibly.
