Litmus is a reading tracker and book log for people who want to read more, read better, and read more diversely.

Log every book you read, build your shelves, rate and review what you finish, and watch your reading habits come to life in clear stats and charts. Whether you read print, ebooks, or audiobooks, Litmus keeps your whole reading life in one place.

What you can do with Litmus:
- Track your books across shelves: currently reading, finished, and want to read (your TBR).
- Write reviews, ratings, and private notes on everything you read.
- Set reading goals and keep a streak going, with stats that show your progress over time.
- See your reading broken down by genre, theme, and the diversity of the authors and stories you choose.
- Get book recommendations tailored to your taste.
- Scan a cover to quickly add a book.
- Import your library from Goodreads or StoryGraph, with your shelves, ratings, and reading dates intact.
- Join book clubs, follow other readers, and share what you are reading on your profile.

Coming from another app?
Switching from Goodreads or StoryGraph is simple. Export your library, import it into Litmus, and your shelves, ratings, and reading dates all come with you. Currently-reading and did-not-finish books keep their status instead of being flattened into one pile.

Read more diversely:
Litmus is built around representation. It helps you see the diversity of what you read, across authors and stories, and discover books and voices you might otherwise miss. If you have ever wanted to broaden your reading and be more intentional about the books you pick up, Litmus gives you the tools to do it.

Your data, your control:
Your profile and reading life are yours. Identity details are always optional and opt-in, you choose what to share, and you can keep your profile private, or mark any single book private so it stays off every public surface while still counting in your own stats. You can edit or delete your data, or your whole account, at any time.

Start tracking your reading, set your next goal, and read more of what matters to you.
