Longview is a timber cruising and forest inventory tool built for foresters who work in the field. Lay out a cruise, tally trees on your mobile device, and see net volume the moment you enter the data — no signal required.

Built by a working forester, Longview keeps data entry fast and the math trustworthy, so you can spend less time punching numbers and more time under the canopy.

KEY FEATURES

• Fast field data entry — a purpose-built keypad for species, DBH, heights, and logs, made for gloves and sunlight.
• Hands-free voice mode — call out your measurements and keep tallying without looking down. Tune read-back, cursor movement, and audio cues to fit how you cruise.
• Instant volumes & statistics — net board feet and cubic volume, trees per acre, basal area, and stand statistics computed on the spot.
• Multiple cruise methods — variable-plot (BAF/prism), fixed-area plots, and 100% (strip) cruising.
• Organized your way — group work into projects, stand types, and plots, with legal description, acres, and ages.
• Cruise calculator — limiting distance, plot radius factor, and quick field checks.
• Reference tables — species and sort/grade tables you can tailor to your cruise.
• Works fully offline — everything computes on your device; export and back up when you're ready.
• Pairs with the Longview desktop app for reporting and deeper analysis.
