You already know what you should be doing. That is not the problem.

Progrex is built for the gap between knowing and starting. It does not ask you to build a system, tag everything, or maintain a perfect list. It asks one question — what can you actually do right now — and answers it for you.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

Tell it how much time you have. Fifteen minutes, an hour, whatever is real. Progrex ranks your tasks by what genuinely fits that window, how close the deadline is, and how many times you have already put each one off. The task that has been avoided the longest stops hiding at the bottom of a list.

It can even ask you: every so often a small card appears over whatever you are doing and hands you the task that fits.

WHEN YOU FREEZE

Every task app assumes you will start. This one assumes you might not.

Tap "Stuck on this?" and Progrex asks why — and every answer leads to something the app actually does about it. Too big? It helps you name one concrete first step. Too vague? It asks what the next physical action is. Too tired? It moves the task to the hour your own energy actually works. Not sure it matters? It asks why, and shows your answer back next time you stall.

A TWO-MINUTE ON-RAMP

The hardest part is the first two minutes. Commit to just that: start the timer, do two minutes, and stop with no guilt if you want to. Most of the time you won't want to.

SOMETHING TO COME BACK TO

Rex, a small flame, keeps you company, cheers your first win and, if you allow it, nudges you when you open the apps that eat your time. He is optional. Sprout Buddy grows from a seed to an adult as you finish tasks, and in the tank your finished tasks become fish and your habits hatch from eggs. The garden and the tank are part of Pro.

YOUR MONTH, ON YOUR HOME SCREEN

The Month widget shows every task on the day it is due, today's frog in green. Tap a day to finish or add tasks right there. A second widget lists today. Choose from five looks, two of them free.

SOMEONE TO ANSWER TO

Handing a task to a peer is part of Progrex Pro, and off unless you turn it on; being someone's peer is free. Pair with one person and hand them a task. From that moment you cannot mark it done yourself — only they can. They write you something encouraging when they agree, and when your deadline passes, their phone tells them so they can check in.

It works because it is not a reminder from an app. It is a person who said yes.

ALSO IN THE APP

• A focus timer, with a deep work mode for longer sessions
• Quick add — type "call the dentist tomorrow at 5pm" or "22 october" and it sorts out the date
• New tasks wait in "Needs a time" until you say how long they take
• Voice capture
• Habits, sub-tasks, recurring tasks, and reminders you control per task
• A streak and badges that only move when real work does
• A short setup quiz that tunes the app to you
• Six languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Turkish
• Light and dark mode

PROGREX PRO

God mode for the apps that eat your day, the free-time prompt, eat the frog, the task wheel, handing tasks to a peer, Sprout's garden, the tank, every colour theme, unlimited tasks, calendar sync and your calendar of finished work. Pro starts with a free trial. Free: up to 3 new tasks a day, the focus timer, habits, Rex, both widgets, badges and backup.

YOUR DATA IS YOURS

Progrex works offline and keeps your tasks on your device. No account is needed; peer accountability uses Sign in with Google. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to use peer accountability, and even then your peer only ever sees the title, deadline and status of the specific tasks you hand them — never your notes, your reasons, or anything about your other tasks.

Exporting your own data is free, and always will be.

No ads. No tracking SDKs. No profile built about you.

Progrex is for the days you have twelve things to do and cannot start any of them. It picks one, makes it small, and starts the clock.
