Kraken's Crew is a free pirate party game for 5 to 10 friends. Somebody on the ship is secretly feeding the Kraken – and you have to work out who before it catches you.

Most of you are loyal Sailors. A few are Mutineers, and hiding among them is the Summoner. Play on one phone in the middle of the table, or everyone on their own. Nobody knows who to trust.

HOW A ROUND GOES
• The Captain nominates a Navigator. Everyone votes: thumbs up or thumbs down.
• The Captain and the Navigator each get three cards and secretly play one: Treasure Course or Kraken Waters.
• Two good cards and the ship sails one stop closer to the treasure. Just one bad card and the Kraken creeps a step closer.
• Then the arguing starts: just a rough hand, or is somebody lying?

The Sailors win when the ship reaches the treasure (six stops), or the moment they throw the Summoner overboard. The Mutineers win when the Kraken catches the ship, and it needs just six steps. The Mutineers know each other. The Summoner knows them all, but they don't know the Summoner. And with a bad card the Summoner can summon the Kraken: two steps in one go, in front of everyone – so everybody knows it was one of the two who just played.

CAPTAIN'S POWERS
The closer the Kraken gets, the more powers the Captain unlocks: the Parrot whispers which side a player is on, the Lookout secretly shows who played what, the Hull Breach sends a player below deck, and the Plank sends one overboard.

ONE PHONE OR EVERYONE'S OWN
• One phone: put it in the middle of the table and pass it around for the secret parts. Works without internet.
• Everyone on their own phone: one player creates a table, the others join with a QR code or a short code. Roles, cards and votes stay private on each phone. Someone without a phone? They play on the host's phone.
• Not in the same room? Tap the microphone to join the table's voice call. It's optional, and nothing is recorded.

EASY TO LEARN
• A five-minute practice voyage: Captain Voyto teaches the game while you play.
• The Captain's voice narrates the game, so nobody has to read the rules to the table.
• The rules fit on nine short pages, with details one tap away.

MADE FOR THE TABLE
• 5–10 players; the deck adjusts to the number of players
• Ten pirates to choose from – or use your own photo
• The Ship's Log at the end reveals every hand and every secret choice of the voyage
• Crew titles at the end – and a picture of your voyage to share
• 10 languages: English, Slovenčina, Čeština, Deutsch, Español, Português (Brasil), Français, Italiano, Polski, Nederlands (the Captain speaks English, with captions in your language)

FAIR AND PRIVATE
• The whole game is free. No ads.
• No account, no sign-up.
• No tracking. In one-phone games, names and photos never leave the phone.

Gather your crew. Someone is lying.
