Secret Santa Club runs your family's gift exchange from start to finish: the draw, the wishlists and who is buying what. It is built for real families, children and grandparents included.

Why families use it
- Children and older relatives are included. Children don't need an account: a parent keeps their list. A relative who won't sign in can have someone act for them.
- Run the same group each year and last year's pairings are avoided automatically, whenever the numbers allow it.
- Nobody can peek at the draw, not even the organiser. Until the reveal, only you can see who you are buying for.
- Who bought what stays hidden from everyone. Others see that a gift is taken, never by whom, and you never see what has been claimed from your own list.
- There are no paid upgrades. Everything the app does is there for everyone, with nothing to unlock.

How it works
- The organiser sets up the year: the budget, the event date and, if they want one, a reveal date.
- They add everyone by name. Add an email and we send an invitation, or share one link with the whole group and approve each person as they join. The link opens in a web browser, so nobody has to download anything.
- Everyone writes a wishlist, with links and prices, and marks it "Ready for Santa" when they are happy with it. You can still change it afterwards.
- The organiser runs the draw, and we email you when it is done. The email doesn't say who you have.
- Go to Buying for and tap "Open my match" to see who you are buying for and what is on their list.
- Claim the gift you are getting so nobody else buys the same thing.
- On the reveal date, everyone in the group finds out who had who. Leave the reveal date blank and the draw stays secret.

Built to keep the secret
- The organiser sees who has opened their match, but never who has whom.
- If you change a gift someone is already buying, we ask them first.
- Your Secret Santa can always see your list. You choose whether to share it with everyone in the group, with people you pick, or keep it "Secret Santa only".
- If your match's list is looking thin, send them an anonymous nudge.

Draw rules for real families
- Exclusions stop someone drawing a person they shouldn't, such as their partner.
- Repeat avoidance looks back as many years as the organiser chooses, one by default.
- The draw never pairs someone with the person who acts for them, such as a child with their parent.
- Untick anyone who won't be buying a gift this year, such as a baby.
- A claim delay gives each Secret Santa first pick for a few days after the draw.
- Need to start again? Reset and draw again before the reveal.

Children and relatives who don't sign in
Children don't need an account. The organiser adds them and chooses a parent to look after their list, so you can write it together. For an adult who doesn't sign in, the organiser can choose someone to help with their list or to act for them. You need to be 13 or over to have your own account.

Signing in
Sign in with Google, with a link sent to your email, or with a password once you have set one. An organiser can also send someone a personal link that signs them straight in.

Start a group or join one
Anyone can sign in and start a group. Been invited? Open the link your organiser sent you and you'll go straight to your group.

Nothing to pay for
There are no paid upgrades and nothing to buy in the app. We don't sell your information. How we look after your information: https://app.secretsanta.club/privacy
