Nobrainrot is a focus app blocker for people who open Instagram without deciding to. Pick the apps that eat your day, tap once, and they stay locked until your focus session ends. People who keep a mode running for two weeks or more get back 2h 13m a day on average (Nobrainrot in-app data).

No willpower speeches. Just a lock on the apps you keep opening, so you stop scrolling and cut your screen time for real.

HOW IT WORKS
Choose what the app blocker locks: social media, short video, games, anything that pulls you in. Start a session with one tap or put it on a schedule. When you try to open a blocked app, Nobrainrot shows a block screen instead of the feed. That second of friction is usually enough to put the phone down and stop doomscrolling.

PICK HOW STRICT YOU WANT IT
Easy mode: stop the session any time, or take a short break of up to 15 minutes and come back.
Hardcore mode: no way out until the timer ends. Not even the emergency unlock can end it.
Shift mode: use the Shift device, a small NFC puck sold separately. Your apps stay blocked until you tap your phone on it. Leave it in another room and doomscrolling turns into a walk.

The Shift device is optional. The app blocker works on its own.

SCHEDULES THAT RUN THEMSELVES
Block social media every weekday from 10:30 to 19:30, before bed or during study time. Set it once and the app blocker turns on by itself, so focus time happens without a fight.

SCREEN TIME STATS AND STREAKS
See how much screen time you shifted today, set a daily focus goal and keep your streak alive. Share your offline time as a card, not your feed.

WHO USES IT
Students who need to study without opening TikTok every five minutes. People working from home who lose mornings to YouTube. Anyone fighting phone addiction who wants a digital detox, or a full dopamine detox, without throwing the phone in a lake. If brain rot is a joke you make about yourself a bit too often, this app is for you.

FREE AND PRO
The free plan includes 3 modes and 1 schedule. Nobrainrot Pro lifts those limits and adds the allow list.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE
Nobrainrot uses the Android Accessibility Service API to detect when you open an app you chose to block and to show the block screen over it. It is used for app blocking and for your screen time stats: which blocked apps you open and how often is sent to our servers so we can show your progress. You can turn it off at any time in Settings.
