Fundraising events that raise more, by making donations conditional on each other.

MatchPeer helps charities run group fundraising events with a simple but powerful twist: instead of everyone donating whatever they feel like, participants are placed into small groups where everyone gives what the lowest donor in their group gives.

That single rule creates a powerful incentive. Every donor knows that a small extra amount from them doesn't just add to their own gift — it lifts the minimum for the whole group, unlocking extra giving from everyone else too. One person's generosity is multiplied across their group, giving everyone a much stronger reason to give a bit more.

How it works:

Organisers set up an event and invite participants
Donors are grouped and submit their donation bids
Everyone in a group pays the group's minimum bid
Over several rounds, groups get larger and participants are re-sorted so people are matched with similarly generous peers
Totals climb naturally, round after round, as each increase unlocks further giving

Built for charities:

Set up an event in minutes — no technical knowledge needed
Automatic grouping and re-sorting between rounds
Live dashboards showing group totals and running totals
Works for in-person galas, virtual events, or hybrid fundraisers
One app for both organisers and donors — donors just download and join with an event code

Built for donors:

Simple, transparent bidding — see your group's status in real time
See exactly how your donation multiplies across your group
No awkward asks or pressure — just a clear incentive to be generous

Whether you're running a small community fundraiser or a large annual gala, MatchPeer turns individual generosity into collective impact.
